What if you surname doesn't match with the profession you do today ?

A family from Barnoldswick, Lancashire, England found their answer. Simply change your surname that tells your profession.

Polly and Barry Pugh and daughter Amanda are in the business of making beds, they have made an estimated 3.5million beds at the Silentnight factory in Barnoldswick. They changed their surname to 'SLEEP'.
Barry, 60, from Barnoldswick, said: “Beds are in this family’s blood and we have all worked here at Silentnight for years.

“But, despite the temptation none of us have ever been caught sleeping on the job.
“We thought, because we are so involved with the industry, and in recognition of national love your bed week, we’d do something big to celebrate this year.
“I guess it does not come much bigger than changing your name to ‘Sleep’.”
